Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026 · Applies to the iOS app “LetBe” and this website. In case of discrepancies, the German version prevails.

The most important part first

LetBe is built so that your content never leaves your device. Everything you enter in the app — parked thoughts, worries, your evidence archive, settings — is stored exclusively on your iPhone. There is no user account, no registration, no analytics or tracking services and no advertising. We cannot read your content, because it never reaches us.

Data in the app

Your content (thoughts, worries, outcomes, pattern names, settings) is stored only locally on your device (app storage and iOS system storage as a backup copy). It is not transmitted to us or to third parties. “Delete all data” in the settings removes it completely; deleting the app removes it as well.
Notifications (reminders for your worry time, follow-ups from the evidence archive) are scheduled locally on the device. No push server is involved.
Audio (exercises, soundscapes) is included in the app and is not downloaded at runtime.

In-app purchase “LetBe Plus”

Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store); Apple’s privacy terms apply. For purchase processing and restoring we use RevenueCat, Inc. (USA). Only purchase-related data is processed (an anonymous identifier, the receipt, the device type) — never content from the app. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract). This website

When you visit this website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, page requested) in server log files to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The website sets no cookies, uses no analytics tools and loads no third-party content; the fonts are self-hosted, too.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since app content lives exclusively on your device, you exercise access and erasure directly there yourself.
